How to raise an issue/service request
Raising an Issue
If you have a issue or problem, there are two options available to you.
-
Via the Digital Services Helpdesk Portal
Click the link to the following page where you can fill in all of the information about the problem that needs to be resolved - Create a new ticket | Digital Services Helpdesk
- Please take time to find the category that most closely defines your problem as this will allow your ticket to be automatically routed to the correct team.
- Please ensure you enter a subject line that summarises the problem, and provide steps to recreate the problem in the description, including the system(s) you're using, what you clicked on etc.
- If you have any screenshots or a video to illustrate the problem, please attach/send these too.
-
Via Email
If you know which team in Digital Services you need help from, you can send an email to that team and it will automatically create a ticket for you:

Making a Service Request
Service Requests allow you to request the support of a Digital Services team for tasks that aren't a bug / issue / problem / breakage etc. New work or changes primarily.
- To make a service request, you must first be logged in.
- Most service requests can only be made by members of staff, but there are some options for students and parents. The button to the far left in the grey bar on the homepage lists the full service catalogue.
- Go to the following link to find the options for all the service requests that you can make: Service Catalogue | Digital Services Helpdesk
- Each of the forms created is tailored to extract the necessary information so that we can action, schedule or prioritise your request as soon as possible so please provide as much information as you can.
- If you cannot find the request form you need, please submit an issue, and the teams will be able to create something appropriate for future requests, or point you in the right direction.
